The Poor Farm Multi-Cache
bogeyscache: I was nearby and stopped in to check things out. S1 and 3 were both missing. Sticking a fork in this one.

This 4-stage multi is placed in the J.J.Shepperd Memorial Forest with the permission of the Pembroke Open Spaces Commision Chair.
During the mid to late 1800's, up until the 1930's the parcel of land was known as the Poor Farm. Vagrant citizens were given room and board in exchange for a days labor on the farm. The large grey house across the street and the brick building are all thats left of the farm.
In the 1950's the town gave a large piece of the land to the Public Works Department. Not long after the baseball field were built and recently expanded.
I hope you enjoy your walk through here and are able to find the cache.
Parking may be difficult on a Saturday morning during baseball season..
