Geocache Description:

                           A tribute to Mark Kisielius

The Beechcraft Musketeer was bought in 1971 to replace the Chipmunk as a primary flight trainer. Based at CFB Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, they helped train thousands of pilots until their retirement in 1992. This cache placement really brings back memories for me as I was stationed in Portage for 14 years working and flying in the Musketeer.

I placed this cache as a tribute to Mark Kisielius, the owner of "Tirecraft Auto Centre" Mark, a pilot himself, took a special interest in one of these old retired Musketeers from the 3CFFTS training school in Portage, Manitoba. It took Mark more than a year to refurbish this Musket to like new condition after many man hours spent in the garage and in the paint shop, and many months scouring the aviation sites for parts. We thank you Mark and I know a lot of military, locals and visitors will appreciate seeing it up on it's perch shining like new again with that amazing paint job you gave it. In my eyes he is an outstanding community leader for doing this for the citizens of Brockville to enjoy as well as the many visitors that drive by it every day. On your next drive by this heritage monument to the Military, please drop in and congratulate Mark on the amazing job he did.

This aircraft will be dedicated to the local Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron by 870 Vampire Squadron - Brockville. There will be a dedication ceremony taking place Saturday, 19th Sept 2015 from 10:30am until 2:00pm. Please plan to attend as it is open to the public.

This should be an easy P&G. The owner, Mark from “Mark’s Tire" has given me permission to hide a cache here.

You are looking for a pill container. Since I did not change the GC number it will show that you've already found this cache. However since it is a new hide with a new name, there is no problem with signing your log the second time around. Bring a pen.
Congrats to Canadianzombie for coming out of retirement and getting his second FTF on this cache.

As always, Have Fun, and Happy Trails to you.
