Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Longleaf Pine Preserve

Longleaf Pine Preserve is a great place to visit Florida in it's natural splendor. The trails we used when planting this cache were all hard packed gravel or grassy and are great for hiking, biking or horseback riding.  But keep in mind, portions of some of the trails may be subject to flooding. Cell phone reception should be good. And as always, bring plenty of water.  Enjoy this piece of Florida.  Take only memories!  Leave ONLY footprints!

The cache is just off the main trail - across a 6-8 ft gully. It was dry here when the cache was placed, but we are assuming that wading boots WILL be required during the raining /wet season. Once across, you should easily find a small camoed lock-n-lock atop the "piney knoll". There is some swag for trading.  As always, BYOP.

Getting back to the main trail may be another story, but that is one for you to tell!!

Have Fun & Hoppy Caching!!!
