Geocache Description:

A micro cache with a little history of Mile Marker 31.

I just found my first Old National Road Mile Marker cache and then realized there is a mile marker within a mile from my house. So I thought about putting a cache near the marker..
The coordinates will take you to a place you can park and also to a sign. The sign has a great history on how the areas of Parrsville and Ridgeville formed the town of Mount Airy and of the Old National Road. The sign mentions that Mile Marker 31 has been moved from its original location. Make note of the distance it has been moved. You will need that information.
Now walk up to the Mile Marker 31. From the marker make a projection of 322º true with the distance given in the sign.
If you cross over any guard rail, or climb any fence, you have gone too far.
This is an extremely high muggle area so please be as discrete as possible when making the grab.
I am a cacher that sometimes is very self conscious when in high muggle areas, and since this cache is more for the interesting information from the sign than the hide, the hint will be a complete spoiler. But trust me you probably don't even need a hint.
The cache only has room for a log and a NASA pin for FTF.
