deepdish23: The sign to gather the information has indeed been defaced, and from previous logs, the cache seems to be near a homeless encampment in the woods. So, I am going to archive the cache. Thanks to everyone who went for this cache. If no one puts another cache out in the next couple of months, I may place a traditional out here in the early spring farther away from the homeless place. This is a nice little park.

Geocache Description:

A multi-cache with a little history lesson.

I was looking for a park to place a cache near where I work, and I came upon Schrom Hills Recreation Center. When hiking for a cache location I came upon a sign that revealed that the location was an airport at one time. So the idea of making this a multi cache arose.
The coordinates take you to the sign in the park. Please read over the sign. The final cache location is at: N38º 59.XXX W076º 52.YYY.

AAA = (year park was completed - year grass runway was paved) + (year Greenbelt acquired the land - year airport was built) + 6.
Take AAA and add it to the original north coordinates to get XXX.

BBB = # of acres of land Greenbelt acquired -10
Take BBB and add it to the original west coordinates to get YYY.

The cache is located in the woods. Minor bushwhacking may be needed. The cache is big enough to hold coins and small TB. The cache contains an unactivated TB for FTF. Please hide the cache as good or better than you found it to prevent it from being muggled. Thanks.
