[EN] In 1789 Michael Kasakowski, the owner of Vaitkuskis Manor,
built a brick Church of St. Barbara about 1 km to the north-west of
his estate, near Pivonija Forest. After the Second World War, the
church was closed, later on Soviets started using it as dance hall
and cinema. In 1992 church has been returned to Catholics.
