Maursundtunnelen

Maursundtunnelen er en undersjøisk tunnel under Maursundet mellom Hamneidet på fastlandet i Nordreisa og øya Kågen i Skjervøy og ble åpnet 6. juli 1991. Tunnelen er 2122 meter lang, og dypeste punkt er 92,5 meter under havet. Største stigning i tunnelen er 10 %.

Cachen var en Lock&Lock-boks på 350 ml og inneholdt opprinnelig loggbok, blyant og FTF-sertifikat.
Erstattet i 2022 med mindre boks hengende i en tøypose på et nytt sted.

Maursundtunnelen is a tunnel under the sea (Maursundet) between the mainland in Nordreisa and the island Kågen in Skjervøy.

The cache was a Lock&Lock box at 350 ml and contained originally logbook, pencil and FTF certificate.
Replaced 2022 with a smaller box hanging in a cloth bag at a new place.
