HR: Mato Lovrak je jedan od najpoznatijih hrvatskih pisaca za djecu, rodjen u obližnjem Velikom Grdjevcu. Najpoznatiji romani, po kojima su snimljeni i istoimeni filmovi, te uz koje su odrasle generacije i generacije djece, su „Vlak u snijegu“, te „Družba Pere Kvržice“, koji vjerno prenose život na selu u doba socijalizma. Slavko Štimac, glavni mali glumac u filmu „Vlak u snijegu“ kasnije postaje najpoznatiji djecji glumac u bivšoj Jugoslaviji nizom filmova sa pretežno seoskom tematikom. „Kad se male ruke slože“ je nezaboravni refren istoimene pjesme iz filma. Cijeli razredi (ukljucujuci i moj) su svojevremeno odlazili na projekcije filma kad bi igrao u kinu, a igrao bi ponovno svakih par godina.
Cache je skriven u novouredjenom memorijalnom centru Mate Lovraka, gdje je izložen vlak iz filma „Vlak u snijegu“, napravljena kopija mlina u kojem se skupljala družba Pere Kvržice, te šetnica uz potok s klupama, a sve skupa se nalazi na malom jezeru gdje se udomilo i ribolovno društvo „Grdjevica“. Mnogo ucenika iz cijele Hrvatske svake godine dolazi u obilazak centra.
EN: Mato Lovrak is one of the most famous croatian writers for children, born in a nearby Veliki Grdjevac. Two most famous of his many children's books are „Vlak u snijegu“ (Train in the Snow), and „Družba Pere Kvržice“ (The Gang of Pero „the Pimple“). Movies are made according to the two books, where the rural life of the children in socialist Yugoslavia is accurately depicted. Slavko Štimac, the main child actor in „Vlak u snijegu“ movie become the most famous child actor in ex-Yugoslavia, starring in movies with mostly rural ambientation. The song „Kad se male ruke slože“ („When little hands are put together“) from the abovementioned movie is very famous, even today. Movie was so famous that it was playing in the cinemas every couple of years, and when it did, the entire classes of pupils (including my class) were led by their teachers to see it.
The cache is hidden in newly built Mate Lovrak memorial centre, where you can find the train from the movie „Vlak u snijegu“, as well as the replica of the mill where the „Pero Kvržica“ gang used to gather. There is also a recreational area with benches, and all this is situated on the coast of a little lake, where the fisherman society „Grdjevica“ has their building. A lot of pupils from all over Croatia come here on excursions.
