The cache is an ammo box hidden in the Souris River Bend
Wildlife Management Area.
Home to many white-tailed deer, the Souris River Bend WMA is a
beautiful tract of land with changes of elevation that provide
scenic views of the Souris River. This cache is located at one such
vantage point. It is worth the climb up the hill to look out at the
river just downstream of the “bend” where it changes
course from southeast, briefly to northwest and then settles into a
general northeast direction. Turn and you are looking across the
valley toward the part of the river upstream of the bend. Keep your
eyes open and you may see a deer bolt off the trail ahead of
you.
