You are looking for a cammo'ed tubular container about 7" x 2". There can be speedy traffic on this road so be careful of kids and dogs. There is a pull-out here so you can get off the roadway.
Take time to go for a drive on the old road along the Umatilla River in Oregon Trail country of NE Oregon. Road stretches between Pendleton (Rieth) and Echo. Enjoy the slower pace of life off the freeway.
Please be respectful of all the private ranch lands along the way.
When we were here at this spot today we say 15 pelicans sitting on the sand bar across the way and a ewe with twin lamb walking along the other shore.
WHAT DO YOU SEE WHEN YOU STOP BY THIS SPOT?
You can see fields of cattle and sheep with newborns in the spring.
This is deer country and at the right time of the year you'll see lots of geese, ducks and eagles along the river.
