The Hotel for
Transient Trackables (HTT)
is intended to provide temporary housing for Travel
Bugs and Geocoins that have found their way to our part of northern
Ohio. The hotel's very motto and
preferred
method of operation is named for the late
leader of the former country of Yugoslavia. Yep, it's rumored that
the name Tito was actually an acronym for Trackables In, Trackables
Out (that's our motto) but someone shortened that to Tito because
the name Josip Broz Trackables In Trackables Out would not fit in
the space provided on the birth certificate. Interesting, huh? Now
you know.
We, at HTT, ask
the following of
you:
When you check a trackable into
HTT, please be sure to LOG that action at
geocaching.com ASAP.
When you check a trackable out of HTT, please
be sure to LOG that action at geocaching.com ASAP and
MOVE THAT TRACKABLE TO ANOTHER CACHE JUST AS QUICKLY AS YOU
CAN.
The Trackables Police
check on these things, you know!
To show that our heart
is in the right place, we have placed a travel bug in the initial
inventory of HTT. Its goal/mission statement has been
included.
When re-hiding, PLEASE throw a little loose brush
over the container
to make it a little less conspicuous to
muggles.
