Meet, Greet, and Cache

WHO: Everyone is invited. Bring a geo-buddy
WHAT: A Meet, Greet, and Cache event
WHEN: 12 - 2 is social hour, no alcohol only soda's... 2 until all the caches are found
WHY: To have fun, catch up with "old" caching friends and discover some new caches
WHERE: South Park in Junction City. The park has a covered picnic area that we will meet at.
The concept of this event is pretty simple. The diecast64 team (and others if we can get some other local cachers to chip in) will place between 15 and 20 new caches in the Junction City area.
Between 12 and 2 the Meet and Greet part of the event takes place. We will have a sign in sheet that will be passed around.
At 1:30 each cacher will get to introduce themselves and explain how they came up with their user name and tell us about their favorite cache.
At 2 a list of all of the unpublished caches will be passed out. I will wait until after the event to publish the caches. So all of you cachers out there looking for the FTF now is your chance to come and get some.
We will also have a mini type of Poker Run. Seven of the caches will have slips of paper in them with a special mark. At 5:30pm everyone who wants to play the Poker Run will return to South Park. For every slip of paper with a different mark brought back, one playing card will be passed out. A total of seven cards are possible. The cacher with the best Poker Hand will get a gift card to Wal Mart and be able to claim the FTF as their prize.
Food will not be provided at this event. There are multiple restaurants in and around the Junction City area.
