Creosote LOG er en finurlig kamuflert cache. Duften av kreosoten sitter godt i men ikke sniff for lenge av helsemessige årsaker ;) . Lukk cache og kamo godt og se opp for mugglere og trafikk.

Creosote LOG is a good camouflaged cache. The scent of Creosote is strong but don`t sniff it too long due to healthrisk ;). Close cache and camo well, and beware of mugglers and traffic.
Kulltjære Kreosot er den mest brukte måten preservere treverk i verden. Det er en tjukk, oljete sirup. Mørkebrun til svart i fargen.
Det brukes i mange sammenhenger og Telefonstolper som den ved cachen er ofte innsatt med dette stoffet. Også jernbanesviller som dem som ligger oppå brua blir preservert slik.
Råtner aldri.
På sjøen ble kreosot brukt til å impregnere båter og brygger og kamoen som kom drivende i land på garten er nok en bit av ei brygge.

The prevailing use of creosote is to preserve wooden utilities/telephone poles, railroad cross ties, switch ties, and bridge timbers from decay. Due to its carcinogenic character, the European Union has regulated the quality of creosote for the EU market, and requires that the sale of creosote be limited to professional users. The United States Environmental Protection Agency regulates the use of coal tar creosote as a wood preservative under the provisions of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act.
