Geocache Description:

This series is set in Ringhay Wood near Lotherton Hall and is based on classic children’s board games - a good chance to have a clear out and to make our first series!

The walk should take no more than 1 to 2 hours and there are 4 caches with clues leading to the bonus cache – Guess who? All of these caches are hidden off the main paths among the trees so good footwear is needed and beware that GPS accuracy will be affected once under the trees so pay attention to the clues.

Free parking can be found at: N 53° 48.931 W 001° 20.221

There is only enough parking for a few cars. You can also park at Lotherton Hall which currently costs £3.70. It takes about 20 mins to walk from the free parking to the wood, just follow the track.

Don’t forget to write down your clues to the bonus at each find.

Pop-up Pirate

With Pop-Up Pirate game, children can take it in turns to slide swords into the barrel. Slip it into the wrong slot and out jumps Jolly Roger! Losers walk the plank.

Yarr this be a pirate themed cache so ye landlubbers best not be stealin’ me small amount of pirate themed treasure (swaps) or if ye do ye best be puttin’ some back. This be a large cache and ye all know a pirate never lies. YARRR!
