Geocache Description:

Hexagon Temple (Choko-ji Jizodo)

Choko Temple is located in Inazawa city. There is "the hexagon temple" of the rare hexagon-shaped Jizo shrine. In the hexagon temple, "Tetsuzo jizou bosatu ryuzou" of the superior iron Buddha is put. They are appointed to an important cultural property both. Besides this, there is a well called "Gasyosui" which Nobunaga Oda drank habitually in the depths of the south side of the main temple building. Well water was carried to the Gifu Castle and Kiyosu Castle. The cache is hidden near the Hexagon Temple. Please bring a pen.

六角堂 (長光寺地蔵堂)

長光寺は愛知県稲沢市にあります。ここには、珍しい六角形の地蔵堂「六角堂」があります。六角堂には、鉄仏の中でも秀逸の像といわれる「鉄造地蔵菩薩立像(てつぞうじぞうぼさつりゅうぞう)」が安置されています。どちらも国の重要文化財に指定されています。また本堂の南側の奥には、織田信長が愛飲した、「臥松水」と呼ばれる井戸があります。清洲城や岐阜城まで取り寄せたと伝えられています。キャッシュは六角堂周辺に隠されています。ペンを持参してください。
