Geocache Description:

This cache is the third of five on my “Easy Trail” hike. The trail is an extension of the Continental Divide trail and can be found by driving up Lobo Canyon Road (547) north of Grants, New Mexico. Parking and the trail head for the south trail is at coordinates N35 11.359 W107 46.357. The trail may be dim at first, but gets more defined from my “Easy Trail Post” cache.

Although the mounds of dirt and holes appear to be random digging, I believe they are prospect trenches made during the 1950s and 1960s in search of uranium. If you look around, you will see four or five more.

The cache is a one-pound coffee can painted in camo colors. FTF gets a "Drummer Boy" quarter. Log book, pencil, bouncy ball, Halloween finger puppet and other small trade items.
