This cache is dedicated to my old friend Farmer Joe. Many of the trees and plants in this area were originally planted by Joe shortly after the pond was created. I have many fond memories of Joe and this is a fine location to observe nature, plants and animals, as Joe liked to do.
The nearest parking is the Noble Park N’ Ride or street parking on 97th Ave near Royal Oaks park. The cache is about .4 mile walk from either location. The street parking location has the advantage of a paved walking trail for part of the walk with the cache being .16 miles off the trail.
