Geocache Description:

Welcome to Cumberoona Reserve on the banks of the Hume Weir.

The Cumberoona Reserve is located between Bowna & Wymah and is also the home of the Cumberoona TSR & the Hume & Hovell walking track also passes through the reserve. The Holbrook Fishing Club also have a members only area in this reserve. If you go for a drive through the reserve you will see the 'exclusive' area.

A great place to bring the fishing rods, your camping gear, the dogs, the kids & the boat! There are plenty of spots to set up camp, put the boat in or pull out a chair for an afternoon of fishing. A great spot all year round and not far off the Hume Highway.

From the higher parts of the reserve there are some great views of the weir.

The roads in the reserve are gravel, but okay for 2wd's.

The Cache: is a micro & you will find yourself searching the area in the picture above. You do not need to get your feet wet or need any special climbing abilities. As always, please replace as found and please dont give anything away in your logs.

Make sure you keep an eye on the GeoKids in this area.

We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do.

Happy Hunting from Team Haveanez
