The walk to the cache takes you along a section of the Partry
Mountains. You can enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding
mountains, Lough Mask and the Dirks.
The hike from the car park to the cache is approx 1.5 hours. The
altitude difference is 500m. Proper waterproof walking boots/gear
and gaiters are required. Depending on the time of the year this
area can be very boggy, so approaching this walk after some dry
days is recommended.
This geocache can be combined with our other cache Lough Glenawough View [GC2VBT9]. As
a rough estimate, doing both caches could take 5 hours or more
depending on your fitness and experience levels. To download the
