Another cache in a series of squadrons I was attached to during my 28 year Navy career. The VA 127 "Batmen" was a squadron of A4F Skyhawks homeported in Lemoore, Ca that I was assigned to in early 1970 for training on that aircraft. Although I was only attached to the squadron for a couple of months, it was here that I gained valuable training on the A4 that I would use during my next four years. The squadron has since changed names and is now an adversary squadron flying out of Key West.
