The Gryffe Geocache Traditional Cache
Martin Pawley: Took a wander over to the cache site and the entire area is overgrown. There is absolutely no chance of accessing\retrieving the cache without a chainsaw. So I guess it's time for it to disappear.

A wander along the side of the Gryffe Reservoirs.
There are three routes to this cache; from the track that leads to Dowries Farm off the Old Largs Road; along the Gryffe road off the B788 Kilmacolm Road; and from Corlic Hill. Suggested parking waypoint is listed.
Parts of this area have been the victim of fly-tippers but it's still a pleasant walk with a good chance of seeing some wildlife, especially butterflies - Orange Tips, Peacocks, Green-veined Whites, Large-Whites, and Red Admirals can all be seen at the right time of year.
The cache is a 450ml clip-lock box. The cache location was discovered by my small assistant.
