Geocache Description:


Bring your pen please.

This cache is located within the town of Charlestown and between Lake Seymour and Echo Lake. Of course, these 2 lakes are located in the great North East Kingdom or NEK.

It is hidden in a rock pile by the side of the road. Most of the time any vehicle can go up and down this road, however, the day we hid this, the whole area had just been hit by a big rain storm which washed out bridges and put 3 foot deep ruts into roads like this. We weren't sure how we were getting home, but one back road after another proved successful.

This morning I was preparing to maintain some caches in the area by preparing new containers and log books, etc. My daughter saw me doing this and asked if she could make up a cache and hide it. Well, since she has had a waning interest in this hobby of mine, I wanted to make sure I supported her and helped her hide her first cache.
