The building across the street was the Queens County Morgue
until it was closed. Check out the smoke stack and the city logo on
the building.
According to the Assistant Commissioner of NYC Records "In
researching the Official New York City Directory it would appear
that the morgue dates from the late 1930s, and its use discontinued
around 2003."
