This cache is located next to a bike tunnel under 5th Street in the Mace Ranch/Explorit Science Center area.
1/08/12 The cache description below describes the previous cache, which was muggled (see the logs below). The cache is now a medium-sized ground Parmesan container covered in brown/camouflage duct tape about 6" by 3" by 3". The new contents include a Catalina Restaurant business card, a Santa Pez dispenser, a 2011 penny and dime, and a new log. The cache is still very close to the same spot.
Sorry that this is kind of a spoiler, but it is important that you read it:
Please make sure that you replace the cache fully behind the bush and in the leaves to ensure that the camouflage works and the cache does not get re-muggled. This is because of the new, larger size and the fact that it no longer hangs in the bush. Thanks! Have fun caching!
NOTE: Even though the new log doesn't say it (the old one is gone) ShopDogUSA is still technically the FTF since the cache hasn't really moved.
(Previous Listing) I'd love if you could bike to this cache, but if you have to drive the nearest parking spot is the Mace Ranch/Explorit parking lot. It's a few feet away from the cache. The cache container is about 4" tall and 1"x1" wide and is covered in camoflage duct tape. The original contents consist of a half a pencil, a log in a bag, a metal fish charm, and a 4-H pin. I am listing this cache through my club account as my first cache ever. Please notify me if the cache needs maintainence of any degree. Also, as I got the coordinates from Google Earth, keep in mind that they may not be exactly perfect. Congratulations to ShopDogUSA for the FTF!
