Congratulations to 24hawki on her 1,000th geocache find!
24hawki is known locally as a very passionate and dedicated geocacher who will go to any length necessary to find a cache.
She loves a challenge when geocaching, both physically and mentally.
Some of her memorable finds include GC28, Beverly, which is the oldest active geocache East of the Mississippi, along with completing the Pacific Northwest Geo-Triad which consists of the Original Stash Plaque, Project Ape cache, and Groundspeak headquarters.
She has successfully completed the One Busy Day Illinois Icon Challenge, the Clinton Cage Challenge, and has qualified for the Iowa Baker’s Dozen Challenge.
In addition, she is currently working to complete a couple others.
24hawki is known locally for creating innovative caches that are very challenging and satisfying to find. She created the first local night cache which never fails to get good praises. She has also created some of the toughest to solve puzzle caches in the area.
She is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, never missing a home game.
24hawki 1,000 tribute cache is a silver painted 50 cal. Ammo can. Since she loves a challenge when finding a cache, I have hidden this in a little different style that I’m sure she will like. Therefore, when you go to look for this cache, don’t bother looking for piles of sticks against a tree, because you won’t find the cache there.
A big thank you goes out to Wellzez4 for donating the Iowa Hawkeye swag that is in the cache. I also filled it the rest of the way up with non Hawkeye swag.
