The cache is located on private property west of Ely,MN on a partially constructed trail to be completed soon just off Highway 169. It is not necessary to enter the building to find the cache. Enjoy reading the tags on the vegetation native to the area. Site chosen by property manager.BYOP I WILL DELETE ANY SPOILERS INCLUDING PICTURES OF THE CONTAINER OR WHERE IT IS HIDDEN.
IT IS ADVISED TO WAYPOINT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE YOU ENTER THE TRAIL SYSTEM so you will be able to find your way out if you get turned around in the woods.
This is PRIVATE PROPERTY. Permission was given for this cache providing that the geocachers follow these rules:
1. KEEP YOUR PETS IN YOUR VEHICLE.
2. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE TRAIL SYSTEM AND NOT BUSHWHACK, so as not to destroy sensitive plants.
3. DO NOT ENTER THE PROPERTY AT NIGHT- for security reasons and not spooking the bear.
4. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE AREA IN WINTER.
5. DO NOT ENTER WHEN THE DRIVEWAY IS CHAINED CLOSED.
6. DO NOT ENTER WHEN THE BEAR CENTER IS CLOSED-
7. DO NOT ASK EMPLOYEES TO HELP YOU FIND THE CACHE.
You may see a bear wandering in the woods- or other animals. When we walked in to set the cache we saw wolf scat, deer tracks, and a woodcock. Please write in your log what wildlife you encounter.
.I WILL DELETE ANY SPOILERS (LOGS/PICTURES) THAT INDICATE WHERE THE CACHE IS LOCATED.
