The big tree in Arita
There is the big ginkgo tree(O-I-CHO in Japanese) of Arita in the area of Benzai-shrine and is said to be 1,000 years old. The diameter of it is 12m, and its height reaches 40m, so it has been worshiped as a sacred tree from old days. It becomes one of the national natural monuments now. The cache is placed about 30m far from the tree.
有田の大イチョウは、弁財天社境内にあり、樹齢1000年と言われています。
根回り12m、樹高は40mに達し、昔から神木として崇められてきました。
現在は国指定天然記念物となっています。
キャッシュは、木からおよそ30m離れた場所に設置されています。
