We
thought we would place a few caches out this way to highlight
another great recreation spot on the Hume Weir.
The
Cumberoona Reserve is quite a large area located between
Bowna and Wymah which is a short detour and easily accessible from
the Hume Highway for both north & south bound
traffic.
A
great place for a camp & a fish or just to bring the dogs for a
run or enjoy the views of the lake.
A
few higher points of the reserve provide quite nice
views.
The
main track in the reserve is a gravel road and is suitable for
2WDs. Some of the tracks that run off the main track may
require a high clearance 2WD/AWD or
4WD.
The Cache: is a
1.2 litre sistema, clear base with painted
lid.
Please take care retrieving & replacing the
cache & ensure no-one is watching you from a distance,
although you should be well out of site of most
muggles.
If
you are in a 4WD or high clearance 2WD you can make your way
within a few metres of GZ, if not it's only a short walk from the
main track.
Good Luck & Happy Hunting from Team
Haveanez!
