A well maintained park on the banks of the Elliott River next to the Riverview Marine Boat Ramp. Good parking close to GZ but busy on Public Holidays and weekends so beware of 'muggles'. Slight sloping terrain.
Recently there has been $40,000 spent on a new boat ramp and pontoon etc which makes this fishing spot a popular place with lots of spaces for cars with boat-trailers.Excellent playground equipment is available,plus BBQs,toilets,picnic shelters and tables and chairs. Very family orientated. Very clean and well organised. Dogs on leases are allowed. At low tide it is possible to walk to the river over the sand but beware of Stonefish and wear suitable footware for protection. Morning and evening there is a large varity of birdlife to entertain with their various calls but also at this time the sandflies come out in abundance.
The cache is a small sistema container with log book,pencil a few small swaps and a FTF Gift. Should not be too difficult to locate.
