There is parkingspace for about 5 cars near the cache location
(both sides of the road). As it is situated in a bend in the road
you have to be careful getting in and out of the car.
Walk over to the rocks north of the parkingplace and just enjoy
the view.
Below you can see the Santa Martha bay with salt ponds
surrounding it.
In the distance to the north you're able to see the 'seven
mountains' area or 'shete seru' with the St. Christoffelberg (375m)
at 5°.
The St. Hieronymusberg (230m) at 27°
Country house San Nicolas at 315°. One of the bigger 18th century
country houses in Curaçao. The plantation of San Nicolas ran from
the salt ponds right of the counrty house down to the coast on the
left. The salt ponds themselves belonged to the plantation of Great
Santa Martha. Actually your standing on that property and coming up
here you passed the country house of Great Santa Martha.
De cache itself is hidden on the other side of the road of the
lookoutpoint.

In de buurt van de cache is plaats voor circa 5 auto's om te
parkeren (beide kanten van de weg). Daar de locatie in de bocht van
de weg ligt moet er goed uitgepast worden bij het in- en
uitstappen.
Loop naar de rotsen te noorden van de parkeergelegenheid en
geniet van het uitzicht.
Beneden ligt de Santa Martha baai met oude zoutpannen er
omheen.
Naar het noorden toe is het 'zeven bergen' gebied oftewel 'shete
seru' te zien met de St. Christoffelberg (375m) op 5°.

Landhuis San Nicolas op 315°. Een van de grotere 18de eeuwse
landhuizen op Curaçao. De voormalige plantage liep vanaf de
zoutpannen rechts van het landhuis tot aan de zee links. De
zoutpannen zelf behoorden tot de plantage van Groot Santa Martha.
De locatie van het uitkijkpunt behoorde tot de voormalige plantage
Groot Santa Martha. Het landhuis bent u op weg naar de cache
voorbij gereden.
De cache zelf ligt aan de andere kant van de weg van het
uitkijkpunt.
