Geocache Description:

This is a series based on the cache location being related to the appropriate letter of the alphabet, either by place name or some other relationship.
This cache and dash is placed on The Grange in Leominster.
Stealth will be needed for this one as the Grange can be very busy, particularly on sunny days. This is a nano so you will need to take a pen to sign the log.

Due to the proximity of one of our other caches, this is not quite as near the Green Man as I would have liked. Please go and say hello to him once you have found the cache!

As well as the Green Man, The Grange also has a cafe and a children's play park.

There is roadside parking around the edge of the park as well as a free (for 3 hours) car park in Etnam Street, just behind the cache location.

The Green Man on the Grange is at his best in the summer when he's had a chance to grow. When I last checked on the cache he was more of a 'grey man' but here's hoping he'll grow again one day! Google "Leominster garden roller man" to see a photo of him in his glory years.

If you would like to place others in Herefordshire in the same series then please do. Note that ANYONE can pick a letter - there is no obligation to have logged this cache in order to add to the series. There is no time pressure for this series so please choose locations carefully and set good quality caches. If you would like to place a cache in this series then choose your letter. There is no need to follow the alphabet in order, though let's try to avoid repeating letters if we can! Contact me so I can keep a booklist on the listings and letters that have already been chosen.
