Bruno and Raven VS the Troll Once upon a time, While Bruno and Raven where hiking thru the trails of Cedar Hill Preserve they came upon a giant troll sleeping under the shade of trees. Their attempt to not wake him failed. The startled troll roared in anger and took chase after them. Bruno and Raven ran and ran down the trail and thru a barb wired gate with the giant troll trampling trees behind them. (You may see evidence of this still today.) Unable to get away, exhausted, Bruno and Raven tried to hide behind a tree…unsuccessfully. The troll spotted them, ripped a trail marker sign out of the ground to strike the couple. (the burned trail marker sign is no longer there. =note-2019) Just at the point of being pummeled, a bolt of lightning struck the upraised sign, setting fire to the trail marker and killing the troll (or so they thought!). The next day Bruno returned to the spot to retrieve his lost magic stone and the troll was gone. (note: 2019= the stone was muggled so now the site is symbolically marked by a small bison tube) In hushed tones, people speak of the terrible troll and wonder if he still lurks in these woods.
