I placed this cache out here to bring back geocaching to its roots.
It is not about how difficult the hide, but getting away from the city and into the woods.
Close to the cache on the south side of the island is a great place to sit down on some drift wood and just let your stresses fade away. A great place to get away from it all.
Also on the way out if you walk most of the way there are plenty of wild blackberry bushes. Trust me, I stopped for a bite or two, or three.
As with all Savannah woods geocaches, beware the golden orb spider, snakes, and all the lovely biting thingies that Savannah has to offer in its hidden wooded landscape.
If you need to get away for a while and just watch the waves roll or a ship roll in as your stress fades away then enjoy this geocache.
Solitude shows us what should be; society shows us what we are. ~Robert Cecil

Geocache starting contents include logbook/pen, militaria items of mine when I served such as combat patches, wings, combat flags. Also some other small items for trade/swag.
