Geocache Description:

ACCESS BY PERMIT ONLY - Access Hours are limited.

Part of the "Permit Required" series on Wild Horse Wind Farm property. You must stop at the visitor center to obtain an access permit and the final coordinates before heading out onto the Wind Farm land. Please follow the rules and speed limits so we can all continue to cache on their property. Take water with you if you do this series in the summer. Also watch for Snakes and Ticks.

You can save time by completing the online permit so that all you need to do at the Stage 1 coordinates is to get your vehicle pass and ask for the Stage 2 coordinates. To fill out the online form click here

This is the first of a series of caches that will lead you down through an area referred to as "The Pines".

Should be a quick simple find to get you warmed up for the next 4 in the series, or if you don't have time to do the series you can just make a quick grab of this one and be on your way.
