Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the area of a water reservoir. There is a guard at the entry, but no registration or admission is requested. The area is accessible from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The reservoir provides water for a big area including the city of Nakhon Ratchasima. For the adventurous cacher it might be interesting to take a train from Pak Chong to Khlong Pai and trek to the reservoir. The railway line goes along the north-western bank of the lake and the view and experience of a short train ride are well worth the effort.

The area around the cache is a favorite pick-nick area for local people, there are some nice restaurants around. The overflow of the dam leads to a small river, nice place for a cool-down in the fresh water.

Please hide the Petling well again after logging.
