[BT] Monastero della Visitazione Traditional Cache

Il Monastero di clausura della Visitazione è stato edificato ai primi del Novecento nella prima periferia trevigiana, in località Le Corti, a pochi passi dalle mura che racchiudono il centro storico. Vi risiedono le monache Visitandine dell’ordine fondato nel 1610 da S. Francesco di Sales e da Santa Giovanna Francesca de Chantal ad Annecy in Francia, e proprio qui si è trasferita la prima comunità francese. Varie vicissitudini storiche hanno portato le coraggiose suore della Visitazione dalla Francia nel Veneto e infine a Treviso.

The cloister of the Monastery of the Visitation was built in the early twentieth century on the outskirts of Treviso, in the Le Corti, a few steps from the walls that enclose the old city. Resident nuns Visitation order founded in 1610 by St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane Frances de Chantal in Annecy in France, and here she moved the first French community. Various historical events have taken the courageous nuns of the Visitation from France in Veneto and then to Treviso.
