Norman E. Creger was a 17-year veteran of the Jackson Fire Department. He was killed in a furniture warehouse fire in August, 1982, when a wall collapsed on him.

Norm Creger Memorial Park is built on a plot of land adjacent to Fire Station #3 on Jackson's south side. The park is quite small, and is nearly filled by the new playground equipment.

The container is a camoed, micro-sized, CAP-CAP with room for just a log. BYOP.
