Site of Ancient Church, Orgarswick, Romney Marsh,
This church on the Marsh was abandoned many years ago and fell derelict. Today there is no obvious trace of it, but the site is marked by a cross near Chapel Cottage Farm.
Church Memorial Cross was erected in 1938, And the base is inscribed "A.M.D.C.The Parish of Orgarswick was incorporated in Burmarsh in 1938.
cache is on public footpath near Chapple Farm. If you dont sign the log book dont log it online. A recent vist the hiding place is a bit overgrown, but you can still reach it.
