Geocache Description:




Not going to GeoWoodstock? No worries, we’re going to have plenty of fun in and around Jacksonville.

Come join us for an "old Fashion Independence Day Celebration" on Saturday July 2nd at 9:00. We will be gathering at Mandarin Park on the River's edge. The park offers great walking trails, boat ramps, an informational pavillion, and play grounds for the kids.

Come out for some grilled hot dogs, sweet watermelon, and ice cold sweet tea. Please feel free to bring one of your family favorite picnic dishes.

There will be a table set up for Travel Bugs and Geocoins. There will be a show and tell time during the event. Bring your favorite Geocoins and share the stories and adventures of their travels!

The Event officially begins at 9:00 and The Geo-Mazing race starts at 9:30.

UPDATE


A 50/50 drawing has been added to the activities.

The Pit Stop Challenge has been added to the list of activities. For those that will not be doing the Geo-Mazing Race. We will have the same challenges the teams will be performing during the race back at the event. After the last team leaves out, those that want to try the challenges can. Oh yeah, prizes will be involved!! Trackables and Pathtags!!
Here is a list of things that will be needed for the Geo-Mazing Race

Don't forget to post a will attend so we have plenty of food. Looking forward to sharing fun, fellowship,and food with our friends.
