Geocache Description:

This is the NEW Welcome to Port Townsend – Travel Bug Hotel (Formerly “Welcome to Port Townsend”)

I redid this cache to convert it into a travel bug hotel. I felt that Port Townsend needed one as there are a lot of people who come and go here (we call them tourists) and a lot of them are Geocachers and they need a place to drop /pick up travel bugs. The cache container has been upgraded to accommodate lots of travel bugs. It is not meant to be hard to locate as I wanted it mainly for people to exchange travel bugs. I relocated it (see new cords.) so it is not in to plain view of the road and easier to do the exchange process. THIS CACHE IS MEANT TO BE FOR TRAVEL BUGS! I would appreciate it if you left no swag. If you do not want to take or leave a travel bug please just sign the log only. Remember travel bugs are meant to travel so if you pick one up remember to record it on the Travel bug page and then move it along PLEASE DO NOT KEEP THEM! Have Fun and Happy Caching!!!
