The tree farm gate keeps unwanted vehicles from driving on the logging roads up here. For you, it means a quick park and grab. This is also a place to park and hike to a few more caches. When you park please don't block the gate.
You are looking for a micro in a hollow place. You might need something to extract the log and you will need a writing instrument.
The container is courtesy of fyrdog who replaced a supposedly missing Guilford SE Corner cache, when this container was still there. I removed the extra container for them and put it to use here.
The road may not be plowed all the way here in the winter. Parking in that case would be at the snowbank about 1/3 mile away. This would be a good place to cross-country ski or snowshoe.
