Das Friedenskircherl am Stoderzinken ist definitv die kurze Wanderung wert!
Einmal, im Frühjahr, hatten wir schon versucht, dorthin zu kommen, aber es war aufgrund der Schneelage unmöglich, ja sogar gefährlich, also brachen wir ab.
Als wir dieses Mal hinkamen, waren wir von dem Kircherl und vor allem von der Aussicht so begeistert, dass wir aus einem Impuls heraus dieses Doserl legten. Denn das hat sich das Friedenskircherl auch verdient! 
Der Cache kann in weniger als einer Stunde absolviert werden, wenn Ihr vom obersten Parkplatz aus startet (Wegpunkt PA2VKBE). Wenn Ihr Euch allerdings für eine längere Wanderung, zB. vom Fuß des Berges aus entscheidet, dauert es natürlich etwas länger, abhängig von Eurer Route und Routine ...
Der Weg zum Friedenskircherl ist gut beschildert und mit 20 Minuten angegeben. Das heißt, es hängt nur von Euch ab, und wie lange Ihr wo verweilt, ob Ihr innerhalb der geschätzten Stunde Gesamtzeit bleibt. Aber kein Stress, keine Hetzerei, genießt nur in Ruhe die Schönheit der Gegend! Eile hat man hier oben sowieso nur bei aufziehendem Schlechtwetter ...
Ach ja, wie schon gesagt: Bei Schneelage ist die Location nicht erreichbar!

DER WEG ZUM FRIEDENSKIRCHERL AM STODERZINKEN
Am Besten parkt Ihr Euer Vehikel am oberen Parkplatz (Wegpunkt PA2VKBE). Von dort folgt Ihr der Schotterstraße ostwärts ca. 130m, wo dann rechts ungefähr in Richtung Südost der eigentliche Weg zum Friedenskircherl abzweigt.
Nach ca. 110m seht Ihr links ein Plateau mit Fundamentresten vom sogenannten Alpenheim. Das war ein Hotel, erbaut im Jahre 1902 vom Erschließer des Stoderzinkens Emil Ritter von Horstig. Das Alpenheim brannte im Jahre 1922 vollständig ab. Zurück blieben nur die Steinruinen des Fundaments ...
In ungefähr 200m kommt Ihr dann an einer Startrampe für Paragleiter, Drachenflieger und Ähnliches vorbei. Wenn Wetter, Wind und Thermik passen, könnt Ihr veilleicht sogar bei ein paar Starts zusehen.
Wenige Metern weiter zweigt links der Weg zum Gipfel ab, während der Weg zum Friedenskircherl gerade weitergeht. Jedoch lohnt es sich, hier einen kurzen Abstecher nach links Richtung Gipfel zu machen, denn nach ein paar weiteren Metern bergauf steht Ihr vor einer Felswand samt Statue (Wegpunkt PR2VKBE). Letztere ist niemand geringerem als dem Dichter und Schriftsteller Peter Rosegger gewidmet, der selbst sehr gern auf den Stoderzinken kam und von hier so manche Stunde lang ins Tal blickte. Überzeugt Euch und dreht Euch um, um zu sehen, welche Aussicht die Statue geniesst!
Nun wieder zurück auf den Weg zum Friedenskircherl, wo Ihr auch am Cache vorbeikommen werdet. Am Ende trefft Ihr dann auf das eigentliche Ziel dieses Caches, das Friedenskircherl (Wegpunkt KI2VKBE). Nachdem Emil Ritter von Horstig d’Aubigny 1892 den ersten Karrenweg zu den Kohlevorkommen am Stoderzinken bauen ließ, der Vorläufer der heutigen Alpenstraße, ließ er 1902 dann dieses Friedenskircherl errichten. Nehmt Euch ruhig Zeit und genießt! Diese Aussicht bewog Peter Rosegger ins Besucherbuch zu schreiben:
"Was soll ich schreiben, mir fällt nichts ein
in diesen Bergen voll Sonnenschein,
als schweigen und selig sein."
Je nach Wandermuggelaufkommen könnt Ihr nun entscheiden, ob Ihr den Cache am Hin- oder doch lieber am Rückweg zum Friedenskircherl heben wollt. Aber bitte gebt Acht und versteckt ihn auch wieder so, wie vorgefunden. Bedenkt dabei, dass er auch widrigsten Witterungsbedingungen ausgesetzt ist und diese überstehen muss!

The peace chapel "Friedenskircherl" on Stoderzinken mountain is definitvely worth the small hike!
One time, in early spring, we already tried to get there, but due to snow it was impossible, even dangerous, so we called it off.
When we made it this time, we were so thrilled by the small chapel and especially by the view from there, that we hid this cache just out of an impulse. Because the "Friedenskircherl" really deserves it!

If you decide to start hiking e.g. from the foot of the mountain, however, it'll take of course quite a bit longer, depending on your route and routine ...
The path to the "Friedenskircherl" is well signed and is said to take 20 minutes. This means, it depends on you and for how long and how often you stop somewhere, to stay within the estimated total duration of one hour. But no stress, no hurry, just take your time and enjoy the beauty of the area! Up here, you anyway only get into a rush if bad weather suddenly is coming in ...
Ah yes, as mentioned already: if there's snow, the location will not be reachable!

DER PATH TO THE PEACE CHAPEL "FRIEDENSKIRCHERL" ON STODERZINKEN MOUNTAIN
The best option is to park your vehicle at the upper parking area (waypoint PA2VKBE). From there you follow the gravel street further east for about 130m, where on the right hand side at about southeast bearing the actual path to the "Friedenskircherl" starts.
After approx. 110m you will see on the left hand side some mural remains (waypoint AL2VKBE) of the so-called "Alpenheim". This was a hotel built in 1902 by the developper of the Stoderzinkens area, Emil Ritter von Horstig d’Aubigny. The Alpenheim hotel burned down completely in 1922. Only the stone walls of the foundation remained ...
In about 200m you will pass a launch pad für flex-wings, hanggliders and the like. If weather, wind and thermal lift are good, you can be lucky and watch some of them lifting off.
A few metres further on, the path to the summit branches off to the left, while the path to the Friedenskircherl continues straight on. However, it's worth to do a short deviation to the left in direction to the summit, since after another few metres uphill you will come to a rock wall with a statue (waypoint PR2VKBE). The latter is dedicated to no one less than the Austrian poet and writer Peter Rosegger, who loved to come to Stoderzinken mountain himself, spending quite some hours looking down into the valley. Convince yourselves and turn around to see, what marvellous view the statue is savouring!
Now back again on the path to the Friedenskircherl, where you'll also be passing by the cache. At the end you will get to the actual aim of this cache, the Friedenskircherl itself (waypoint KI2VKBE). After Emil Ritter von Horstig d’Aubigny had built the first barrow path to the coal mines on the Stoderzinken in 1892, which was the predecessor of today's alpine road, he built this little chapel in 1902. Just take your time and enjoy! This view inspired Peter Rosegger to write into the guest book of the chapel:
"Was soll ich schreiben, mir fällt nichts ein
in diesen Bergen voll Sonnenschein,
als schweigen und selig sein."
In English this means about something like:
"What should I write, I get no rhyme,
in these mountains full of sunshine,
keep still, blessed soul of mine."
Depending on how the hiking muggles come and go, you can decide whether to get the cache on your way to the Friedenskircherl, or on your way back. But please be very cautious and rehide the cache well covered. Consider well that the cache is exposed to most adverse weather conditions in this high alpine area, and must be able to endure them!
