Eighth in a series of caches around the Ingham Circular Walk which is a comfortable stroll of about 2.5 miles around rural footpaths and quiet lanes some of which are designated as roadside verge nature reserves and in April and early May are a carpet of wildflowers including primroses, cowslips, violets and early purple orchids.
This is a circular trail starting and finishing in the centre of the well kept secret that is the village of Ingham with its old world pub, stunning church, Cricket ground and site of the medieval Trinitarian Priory, all clustered together in the centre of this attractive Norfolk village..
I know people either love or hate cryptic clues. The difficulty rating refers to finding the cache using the hint. It may be more difficult without. The hints in this series are all cryptic but if you're the sort of person that hates crossword puzzle type clues the series is quite do-able without the hints especially if you've done CBE's caches before. Although the hint can be solved before you embark on the trail some may be easier in the field when you see what the options are.
Continue along Grubbs Lane which is one of the quiet lanes whose verges are designated as a wildflower haven. Cache is near the next junction but not in the wildflower verge. It contains a log book only so please BYOP. A pen and a paperclip are basic equipment for all geocachers. Play the game. Sign the log or don't log it as found!
