Geocache Description:

BYO pencil.

When I decided to hide a cache I instantly recognised these co-ordinates as prime numbers
(54419, 09391). I love that!

Some prime number facts:

  • Prime numbers are only divisible by 1 and themselves

  • 1 itself is not considered a prime number.

  • There is only one even prime number (2).

  • 5 is a prime number, any other number ending in 5 is not.

  • There are 25 prime numbers under 100.

  • The largest known prime number (circa 2008) has 12,978,189 digits.

  • Holey primes are prime numbers whose digits have holes ie. 0, 4, 6, 8 and 9.

  •  There is no single formula to calculate prime numbers.

  •   Some cicadas use the prime numbers 13 and 17. They only pupate and emerge from underground after this many years as part of a survival strategy. Predators that emerge every 2,3,4,5 6 etc years are less likely to emerge the same year.

Jarvie park is a nice park with Playground, Basketball court and Youth Centre. The cache is kid friendly and as a bonus, you can teach the little sponges about prime numbers(and cicadas.)

NB, Log is "Rite in the rain " paper so don't worry if it's wet.

Congratulations rinsemesocks for ftf
