This is a quick "grab and go" cache. Resting place for the Lutherans of St. Johns.
Thanks to Pookie Owl for additional information on this very special church and cemetery. The original church was built beside the cemetery. It was destroyed by fire so the members decided to build a new church across the street. You may notice that this old stone church has a plaque identifyng its Heritage designation. They only have services here 3 or 4 times a year for special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas. The first recorded burial was in 1853. Another interested feature is the large gravestone that contains the names of all those buried here from 1853 to the early 1900's since many of those tombstones have disappeared or are broken or illegible.
Please walk softly, our loved ones are sleeping.
BYOP please.
Congratulations to Frankie & Johnny for another Bone-Yard FTF
