Geocache Description:

An ammo can by County Line Falls.

Park at N42° 40.582', W77° 35.196', just off Johnson Hill Road, which is near the south end of Old Bald Hill Road. This cache is near where the now-archived "Salamander Trail" cache was located.

The County Line Falls are pretty impressive, especially when it's been raining a lot, but it's hard to get a close look without going down a steep path. If you choose to venture close to the falls, be careful of the rocks at edge of the falls as they can be pretty slippery. It is possible to get a fairly nice view while staying on flat ground, so enjoy.

My GPS was bouncy when I was trying to get coordinates, so you will need to use geosenses when you get to the right general area.

I have rated this as Terrain 2, since the path is very wet right now, and there are two pine trees down across the path. But it is generally a very good path, almost flat, and in drier conditions without the downed pines it would rate a 1.5.

****Congratulations to Cayuga Crew for the FTF! And thanks for the very nice photo of the falls.****
