This cache is located approximately eight kilometres from Highway #3 in southern Alberta and is just east of the town of Taber. This road is gravel and can be a bit rough if it is wet.
At 100 feet (30 meters) or more above ground, these mighty machines can take advantage of the faster and less turbulent wind. Turbines catch the wind's energy with their propeller-like blades. This is one of many "wind" farms in Southern Alberta.
