Love is in the name … of a station

Welcome to Koigakubo Station.
You may ask why I have placed a cache here.
Well, it is because this is one of only three currently used stations in Japan that uses the kanji character for Love, or Koi “恋” in its name.
The others are Bokoi Station in Hokkaido and Koiyamagata Station in Tottori (unfortunately both too far away for me to place a cache and make it a series).
It is a small station with no marketing done around the word “Love”, which is a bit of a waste, but maybe that’s good thing.
BTW, in a cold morning, you can see a nice view of mount Fuji from the walkway that connects the platforms.
There is a coin parking opposite the station.
Please bring a pen.

恋ヶ窪駅へようこそ。
ここは、日本国内にわずか3箇所しか存在しない、現在でも使われている『恋』がつく駅の一つです。
他の駅は、JR室蘭本線（北海道）の『母恋駅』と智頭急行智頭線（鳥取）の『恋山形駅』です。この2つの駅にもキャッシュを設置してシリーズに出来れば良いのですが、残念ながら両方共遠すぎです…
このような貴重（？）な駅なのに「恋」を使ったマーケティングなど一切行われていない、もったいない、いやいや、素敵な駅です。
澄んだ日にはプラットフォームをつなげている橋から富士山が綺麗に見えます。
コインパーキングが駅の向かい側にあります。
ペンをお持ちになってハントを楽しんでください。
