New Mesa's Edge--Dr. Jay Traditional Cache

This is part of a series of caches dedicated to some of my friends. They are located on the edge of Lost Spring Mountain.
Driving Directions--Go out Highway 59 past Colorado City. Turn west on a road that is just past Mile Marker 4 and follow it until you come to the edge. Part of the problem is chosing the right road. The rest is that parts of the road are a rocky nightmare. There are many rock shelves to travel up and down.
Also, please do not drive off established roads!
You will need HIGH CLEARANCE at the very least, and 4X4 is STRONGLY recommended. If it is wet--don't even think about it.
As always, be prepared--good tires, plenty of water, enough gas and a camera. The views are spectacular. Mark your car. If you have one, bring your SPOT.
I have cached a lot with Dr. Jay. He really is a doctor at UVU.
These caches out here require about a 3-mile hike. Be prepared!
