Vikarvets museum ägs av Bohuslänska kulturhistoriska sällskapet Vikarvet. Husen nere vid vattnet fanns dock där före Vikarvets bildande 1915. Det stora röda huset, Fiskebäckskilsstugan, flyttades till platsen och stod färdigt 1908. Sjöbodarna kom samma år från Gamlestan i Lysekil. Det lilla mörka huset, Rågårdsviksstugan, flyttades dit 1928 och båten Frifararen lades upp på land 1938. Missa inte jättegrytan intill båten.
Cachen är en ordinär plastburk, med loggbok och pennor. Man behöver inte ta i särskilt mycket allsför att flytta det som döljer cachen. Rivning av fasta föremål är alltså inte nödvändigt. Se till att den är väl gömd efter loggningen. Många ungar rotar runt nere vid vattnet.
The Vikarvet museum is owned by the "Bohuslänska kulturhistoriska sällskapet Vikarvet". The houses on the waterfront was however there before the formation of the Vikarvet society in 1915. The large red house, the Fiskebäckskil cottage, was moved to the site in 1908. The boathouses also came that year from the Old Town in Lysekil. The small dark house, the Rågårdsvik cottage, was moved there in 1928 and the boat Frifararen was placed on terra firma in 1938. Do not miss the ice age "gigants pot" next to the boat.
The cache is an ordinary plastic container with a logbook and pencils. You do not need much force to move the camouflage of the cache. Demolition of solid objects are not needed. Make sure it is well hidden after logging. Many kids creeps around at the waterfront.
